Why can Vegan diets still cause health problems?

You would think that eating a 100% totally raw food diet would be very healthy, yet studies have shown that Vegan’s have had health issues on a total raw diet.

At Hallelujah Acres the 100% raw vegan diet is not promoted.  There are several different views in the Vegan world about consuming totally raw, some cooked or some believe that it doesn’t matter how much is cooked as long as the food is plant based.

The Hallelujah Diet uses a 85% raw food base and 15% cooked plant-sourced food.  Almost all animal source foods are excluded as the majority of physical problems being experienced today, such as heart attacks, strokes, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, allergies, asthma and more stem from consuming thees foods.  (Exception -Fish Oil)

Over a year ago I was suffering from severe heart burn and allergies along with low energy levels and trouble sleeping.  As I slowly began my new life style I noticed that my allergies weren’t bothering me as much and heart burn wasn’t as much of a factor.  Being really cheap this lead me to start cutting down on my medication.  After about six months I had completely stopped taking all my medications and was able to eat some of the things that had been bothering me like hot peppers.  This fall when the field beside our home bloomed full force with golden rod I could go outside and play ball with our dog.  There was no allergy reaction at all.  Hallelujah!!!

    I see great value in eating raw foods. I can even see value in becoming vegan. However, those are not the only paths to take. Especially, if you commit to going organic. one such alternative that has great research behind it is the Blood Type Diet. Here is a link !
